Living Accomodations
The UP Home sits on a beautiful 35-acre campus in Washington, Iowa, offering a variety of living arrangements and levels of service to meet your needs and preferences. Our accomodations vary in shape and sizes from our 75 cottages, spacious condiminium-style apartments, smaller apartments in the Main Building or our nursing facility, there truly is something for everyone here at the UP Home.
Cottages
Cottage living combines the independence of living in one's own home with the security and privileges of the resources the UP Home offers.
Apartments
The United Presbyterian Home has several options for apartment living ranging from our one, two & three bedroom condominium-style apartments to retirement rooms. All apartments are independent living with Home Health Service available if needed.
Health Care Services
The United Presbyterian Home has a 59-bed skilled nursing facility located on its campus to provide nursing care for those who are no longer able to care for themselves.
