WARM WATER THERAPY POOL

The Wellness Center’s 12’ x 20’ Warm Water Therapy Pool is the only one of its kind in a 60 mile radius of the UP Home.  By integrating aquatic therapy, the UP Home will be providing a safe and effective way to help people rehabilitate, become more active, and safely perform everyday tasks required for an independent lifestyle.  Programming for the therapy pool will include group aqua aerobics as well as individual use for cardio, strength, flexibility, balance and weight loss. 

Pool Features

  • Two underwater treadmills with a cushioned low-impact design which can be useful for gait training and aquatic therapy
  • Resistance jet therapy with a message hose for orthopedic therapy, rehabilitation, and swimming or deep tissue massage
  • Ergonomic stairs with handrail for safe access
  • Chair lift to help people get in and out of the pool
  • Men’s & women’s locker rooms, complete with showers
