UP Home is excited to announce their partnership with Blue Stone Therapy. The United Presbyterian Home is focused on delivering a holistic continuum of care that embraces the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of each resident. The Wellness Center at the United Presbyterian Home opened its new space in 2017 offering rehabilitation services and a fitness space for both Home residents and the 55+ community.
Blue Stone Therapy is an Iowa based therapy provider, specializing in providing physical, occupational and speech therapy services in long-term care and to older adults. This partnership will help the Wellness Center provide more specialized therapy for our residents and Wellness Center members. Blue Stone will implement programs focused on preventing falls & balance loss, memory care programming, stroke recovery, and post-surgical rehab including joint replacement.
Together with Blue Stone, UP Home will continue to offer an enriching program of services which foster whole person well-being in a setting designed to serve the 55+ community.
